Week 6

In week 6, the activity that I had on this week was a Workshop 4. The activity in this workshop is regarding the slide presentation preparation for Proposal Defense for FYP 1. The lecturer that involved in this workshop is Madam Azliza Bte Mohamad Arshad. Madam Azliza explain to us on how to do a good presentation and explain the important key point and content needed in the presentation. 

This week also I focused on studying the fuzzy logic system of my project. Before that, I gathered data needed in order to determine the illumination for room capacity. Based on ADC, I can measure the light intensity in the room and determine the effect.

Based on this table, I have generated the membership function for the LDR using Fuzzy Logic MATLAB Toolbox and set the fuzzy condition and its parameters. All the LDR will have the same membership function and fuzzy condition because the sensors were placed in the same room. Furthermore, the rules of the fuzzy logic system also been set. The rules are:

1. ldr1=low and ldr2=low and ldr3=low then PWM bright
2. ldr1=low or ldr2=low or ldr3=high then PWM bright
3. ldr1=low or ldr2=middle or ldr3=low then PWM bright
4. ldr1=middle and ldr2=middle and ldr3=low then PWM semi-bright
5. ldr1=middle and ldr2=middle and ldr3=middle then PWM semi-bright
6. ldr1=high or ldr2=middle or ldr3=middle then PWM semi-bright
7. ldr1=middle and ldr2=high and ldr3=high then PWM dark
8. ldr1=high and ldr2=high and ldr3=high then PWM dark
9. ldr1=high and ldr2=high and ldr3=low then PWM dark
